Gary Adkins

Gary Dale Adkins, Sr. â??Grumpyâ?, 67, of Dinwiddie passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1939 in Garten, West Virginia the son of the late Jess and Bessie Smith Adkins. Grumpy worked at Central State Hospital for over 20 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Judith Adkins of Dinwiddie; daughter, Crystal Adkins of Richmond; son, Gary Dale Adkins, Jr. of Dinwiddie, step-son, James M. Hall of Chesterfield; brother, David M. Adkins and wife, Faye of Covington, Louisiana; his special friends, Rachel, Jena and Sunsiri â??Sunieâ? Martin and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm.
