Gary Neil Boller

Gary Neil Boller, a resident of Hopewell, VA, passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on December 28, 1946, in Nebraska, Gary was the first child of Ralph and Velma Boller. Throughout his life, Gary proudly served in the US Navy from 1968 to 1970 and later had a fulfilling career at Honeywell before retiring. He found joy in fishing, hunting, and tinkering with engines. Despite his quiet demeanor, children always brought a smile to his face. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Peggy (Taylor) Boller; his sister, Linda Starke; his children, Timothy Boller, Frances Boller (Rob Hadaway), Bobby Boller (Athena); stepchildren, Brian Warthan (Robin), Kenneth Warthan, and Carlton "Bubba" Warthan (Crystal). Gary was cherished by his 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at a visitation to honor Gary's memory at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A private graveside burial will be held at Bermuda Memorial Park. Gary will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
