Gary E. Torbeson Jr.

Gary Eugene Torbeson, Jr., 44, a resident of Richmond, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mae Kurtz Torbeson. He is survived by his son, Gavin Michael Rice (Whitney Baxley); daughter, Skie Marie Roulo (Blake); son, Xander Mathias Rice; father, Gary E. Torbeson, Sr.; mother of his children, Sabrina M. Rice; best friend and companion, Little Bit; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Gary was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Iraq War with the 111th Quartermaster Company Mortuary Affairs. He was a member of the Millwright Union Local 1402. He loved playing music and was an aspiring “Rock Star.” A visitation will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. 3050 W.
