Gaynelle Pamplin

Gaynelle Perkinson Pamplin, 89, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late W Clyde Perkinson and Beulah Dyson Perkinson. Gaynelle enjoyed traveling, music, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. She spent the majority of her career with Albemarle County Schools as an administrative assistant. She also volunteered at various organizations. Gaynelle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Oliver Pamplin. She is survived by three children, Cynthia Williams (Stuart), Sheila Walters (Jim), and Keith Pamplin (Michelle); grandchildren, Hunter, Grey, Kourtney, Claudia, and William; one great-grandson, Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family will receive friends and family from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm preceding the service. Interment will be private.
