Gene Stewart Friedline

Gene Stewart Friedline, 89, of North Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Bessie Stewart; her loving husband of 67 years, Eugene H. Friedline; son, Damon L. Friedline; sister, Doris S. Bohr; brother, Curtis O. Stewart; grandchildren, Jarriod P. Friedline and Blaine E. Friedline. She is survived by her son, Dwaine K. Friedline (Linda); son, Darrell E. Friedline; daughter, Danielle F. Curtis (Lee); son, Derrick W. Friedline; sister, Betty S. Altman; brother, Paul W. Stewart (Sally); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Gene retired after more than thirty years of service at Defense Supply Center in Richmond. She was devoted and dedicated to her family, PCA and Ridge Haven Conference and Retreat Center. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son Chester Chapel. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at West End Presbyterian Church 1600 Atlantic St, Hopewell, VA 23860. Interment will be private.
