Gene Traylor

Gene O. Traylor, 77, of Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He was the son of the late William B. & Blanche Waymack Traylor. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Millie S. Traylor, & was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Petersburg. He is survived by his sons, David Traylor and wife, Gayla, Keith Traylor and wife, Donna; granddaughters, Rheannan Traylor, Regina Smith and husband, Brian; great-grandson, Logan Patterson; step-grandchildren, Fred Williams, Jamie Plott and husband, Mike; step-great-granddaughter, Kaylie Jade Plott; nephew, Ronald K. Traylor, sister-in-law Margaret Traylor, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
