Gene "Buster" Francis Wade, Jr.

Gene “Buster” Francis Wade, Jr., 59, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Gene Wade, Sr. and Nancy Wade; grandmother, Hilda Ford; grandfather, Walter “Fats” Ford; and brother-in-law, Bruce Berry.
Buster was a mechanic by trade and a proud business owner. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and racing. Most of all, his greatest passion was his family and he loved them dearly. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina Wade; daughters, Gina Wade and Brandi Wade; siblings, Vickie Berry and Mary Rickman (Bob); numerous nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, Billy Holmes, Ralph “Runt” Ross, and Hector “David” Jimenez.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
