George Randolph Hankins Jr.

George Randolph Hankins, Jr., 54, of Prince George, VA passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Born in Ft. Bragg, NC he was the son of the late Judy Porterfield Hankins; and was also preceded in death by his sister, Michelle “Missy” Sartor. Mr. Hankins was retired from Honeywell after many years of dedicated service. He continued to work at Virginia Abrasives. He was a member of the American Legion Post 284 in Colonial Heights and enjoyed woodworking in his garage. Mr. Hankins is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Eileen Hankins; three sons, Joshua Hankins, Zachary Hankins (Vicki), and Hunter Hankins; one granddaughter, Emma Rose Hankins; father, George Hankins, Sr.; a brother, Joseph Hankins; his aunt, Jeannie Clarkson (Gerald); niece, Jesse Sartor; nephew, Johnny Sartor; and many other loving family members. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
