George Jones

George William “Billy” Jones, 72, of Midlothian, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2004 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Jones and his parents, Alfred Irvin and Indie Phillips Jones. He was a retired electrician and a member of Local 666 IBEW for 43 years. Mr. Jones is survived by his son, Billy Jones and wife, Susan of Midlothian; a step-daughter, Patsy Clements and husband, John of Mechanicsville; grandchildren, Billy Jones, Jr., Lindsey Jones, and John Islip; a brother, Alfred I. Jones, Jr. of King William County, VA; and a brother-in-law, Waverly “Bubba” Kain, Jr. of Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30 in the Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
