George Walter Millis Jr,

George Walter Millis Jr., 82 of Hopewell, passed away on Friday January 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Sr., and Madie Nora Piner Millis; his sister, Pauline Hazelwood; and his brother Richard Millis. George retired from Allied Chemical after many years of service. He is survived by his children, Tracy Millis and his wife, Heather, Christine “Tina” Morea and her husband, Saverio, Cory Millis and his wife, Nicole; his grandchildren, Tiffany Morea, Saverio Morea III, Ryan Millis, Amanda Millis, Dominic Millis, his sister, Louise Powers, and her husband, Clyde; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, interment will be private.
