George Neddo

George Burdett Neddo, 83, of Hopewell, Virginia passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. He was the husband of Frances Laslie Neddo for 53 years. He was the son of the late George D. Neddo and Stella F. Savoy of Whitehall, NY. He was proceeded in death by his sisters Gertrude Ackerly, Vivian Rovelli, and Jessie Coombs, sons William R. Neddo and James D. Neddo and granddaughter Kristi N. Cobb. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Janet and Robert Patterson, Jill and Keith Fischer, and Sherry and Terry Katana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired Produce Manager and a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. The family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. James Maggard and Rev.
