George B. Ragsdale 84 of Dinwiddie passed away on Monday September 6, 2010.
He is preceded in death by his parents John R. and Virginia Reames Ragsdale. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Emma Ragsdale, son George Allen Ragsdale and his wife Tess Franklyn, two sisters, Virginia Ringer, Mary Scott Harvey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ragsdale was born at Baltimore Corner in Dinwiddie County and was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Concord Presbyterian Church 30 Harpers Bridge Rd, Rawlings, VA. 23876. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Childrenâ??s Miracle Network/ Log a Load for Kids Box 8369. Greenville NC. 27835 or Duke Children Hospital 512 Magnum St. Suite 400. Durham, NC, 27701.
