George Anthony Reidmiller, 88, of Hopewell died Saturday, October 27, 2007, in Johnston Willis Hospital. He was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania and was a resident of Hopewell for over 60 years. Mr. Reidmiller served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired ordinance supply supervisor at Fort Lee, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Catherine Schultes Reidmiller, and his wife, Edna Padgett Reidmiller. He is survived by his son, Randall Kent Reidmiller, and daughter, Terri Wells Hedgepeth and her husband, Wayne all of Hopewell, four grandchildren; Aaron Anthony Reidmiller, Landon Kent Reidmiller, and their mother Judy Rayner Reidmiller all of Hopewell, Brian Reid Hedgepeth, of Richmond, Blair Renee Hedgepeth of Alexandria, and various nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ed Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, officiating.
