George W. Shaffer

George W. Shaffer 91, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2013. He was the son of the late George and Mamie Ruth Schley Shaffer. George was the caregiver of the entire family who dedicated his life to his family. He is survived by his nephews; Glen W. Atkins and wife Sheri of Petersburg, Donald W. Atkins and wife Amy of Midlothian and Jerry Procise of Chesterfield, great nephew; Warren E. Procise of Chesterfield, great nieces; Sherry L. Marshall and husband Heath, Kelly P. Medeiros and husband, Chuck, and devoted caretaking great niece Theresa L. Porter and husband Scott all of Matoaca, numerous other great- great nieces and nephews.
