George Lilburn Shearin Jr.

On December 28, 2015 George "Buck" Lilburn Shearin Jr. 68 of Hopewell, went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, George L. Shearin Sr. and Katie Gregory Shearin; three sisters, Brenda Webb, Marion Harris, and Judy House. Buck is survived by his wife, Nellie Ann Shearin; his children, Donald Shearin and his wife, Michele, Tammy Hazlett and her husband, Tim, Bronson Shearin, Katie Clark and her husband, Dustin; Two grandchildren, Savannah Hazlett and Dillon Clark; a sister, Tonja Philbeck and her husband, Trey; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Buck enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and Sunday morning service at his church Broadway Baptist. A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Monday, January 4, 2016 with a visitation to follow at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
