George Smith

George Dudley Smith, 83, passed away April 21, 2007 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born in Allegheny County, PA to the late Roy and Dorothy Chiarky Smith. He attended Colonial Heights Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Martha Smith. Survivors include his Children; George David Smith and wife Shirley, Donald L. Smith and wife Julie, Sheila Smith Jones and husband Harry, Joseph Daniel Smith and wife Rita, Sandra Smith Mejia and Husband Ronnie, Steven Scott Smith, his brothers; Billy Rader and wife Patty, Charles B. Smith and wife Ann, Tommy Smith and wife Margaret, sisters Dorothy Kell, Elizabeth Coady, Loretta Couch, Linda Jones and husband Don and Aunt Margaret Descheemaker as well as 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and his loving dog Ruby. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, April 23rd and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday the 24th of April at 10:00am in J. T. Morriss & Son, Petersburg Chapel.
