George Soloe

George Lee Soloe, 79, of Carson, Virginia, passed away in the early morning of February 23, 2012. George is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Kathleen Soloe. They had the privilege of sharing five children, twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Tabernacle Methodist Church. George worked for the Dinwiddie County Public Schools for 32 years as Supervisor of Transportation and Maintenance. He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter Ray and Cora Soloe, four brothers, and two sisters. In addition to his wife, Kathleen Soloe, George is survived by children; Karl L. Soloe (Susan), CharlotteAnn Soloe Williams (Kenny), Kim Creech Bell (Albert), Kirk Creech (Lisa), Kipp Creech (Mary); grandchildren, Chris Gray, Susie Gray, Marje Williams, Kasey Creech, Karl L. Soloe, Jr., Meagan Creech, Kelly Soloe, Deven Bell, Sydney Bell, Will Dasch, Sandy Dasch, Nick Dasch; great grandson, Ethan Townsend; and devoted sister-in-law, Edith Overby. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Tabernacle Methodist Church (18027 Malones Road, Carson, VA 23830) from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A graveside service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at the Tabernacle Church Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
