George "Tom" Heath

George Thomas â??Tomâ? Heath, age 61, of Sutherland, VA, died on Sunday, September 6, 2009. He was born in Ashboro, NC, the son of the late Robert F. and Dixie Casper Heath. Mr. Heath was a former truck driver with Riggers Inc. He was always happy, maintained a positive outlook on life, and loved helping people. Mr. Heath also loved his family, auto racing, and playing on his computer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda S. Heath; sons, Christopher and his wife, Elizabeth and Kevin and his wife, Christina; grandson, Colby; a niece, Heather; devoted friend, Gregory Kerr; and other family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 10, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Blandford Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Southall, Dr. V.J. and associate Michael Henning.
