George W. Winn Sr.

George William Winn, Sr., 80, of Prince George, passed away on December 27, 2012. He was the son of the late Benjamin Thomas and Mattie Lee West Winn. Mr. Winn was a very loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his four children, George W. Winn, Jr. and significant other, Kelly Ballam of Chesterfield, Kathryn W. DiSciullo and husband, Anthony of Chesterfield, Benjamin G. Winn and wife, Debra of Charles City, and Belinda W. Dovel and husband, Larry Ward of Midlothian; nine grandchildren, Christine, Anthony, George, Benjamin, Justin, Alison, Victoria, Dereck and Dulcey; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ethylene, Mary Lee and Dixie; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. January 2, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
