George Edward Zahradka Sr.

George Edward Zahradka, Sr., 92, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, August 1, 2018. He was born on December 3, 1925 to the late James and Angela Zahradka. He was a lifelong farmer and resident of Prince George County, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Aileen Zahradka, his children, Carol King (Bill), George Zahradka, Jr. (Rosalyn), Connie Kerner (Dan), Neil Zahradka (Amy); three grandchildren, Jason King (Callie), Ashley King, and Rachel Zahradka; one sister, Marie Wilson (Cleveland); and numerous other nieces, nephews, and loving relatives. He was predeceased by his sisters Helen Cizek, Rose Perrie, Evelyn Prochazka, and a brother, Adolph Zahradka (Mary). The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Rd, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Dinwiddie Chapel. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park in Prince George.
