Georgia Talbot

Georgia F. Talbot, 83, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on November 17, 2008. Ms. Talbot was born in Opelousas, LA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Verlie Carroll Ortego. She was also preceded in death by her husband James F. Talbot, Sr. Ms.Talbot was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to many. She is survived by five children, James F. Talbot Jr. and wife, Anne of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Veronica Durham and husband, Donnie of Dinwiddie, Gwenn M. Talbot of Chesterfield, Sharon Toenniges and husband, Fred of Dinwiddie, and Jere J. Talbot of Chesterfield; five grandchildren, Brian Durham and wife, Raye Anne of Dinwiddie, Kimberley Talbot of San Jose, CA, Greg Durham and wife, Stacey of Dinwiddie, Carolyn Talbot of Idabel, OK, and Kirsten Talbot of Norman, OK; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Talbot, Peyton Durham, Carson Durham, Jillian Talbot and Reagan Durham. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Chippenham Medical Center MSICU staff, and Dr. Wigand, Dr. Glenn and Dr. Polski. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will take place in Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond, or the American Diabetes Association.
