Georgie Sullivan

Georgie Lee Smith Sullivan, age 83, of Dewitt, VA, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009. She was born in DeWitt, VA, the daughter of the late Wirter and Corda Tharrington Smith. Mrs. Sullivan was the widow of the late Lewis Edward â??Eddieâ? Sullivan. She was an active member at Bott Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Sullivan was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her children, Sharon A. Suprun and husband, Steve of Chester, VA, Thomas E. Sullivan and wife, Jean of Midlothian, VA, and Robert B. Sullivan and wife, Beth of Dewitt; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 12, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bott Memorial Presbyterian Church, 17113 McKenney Ave., DeWitt, VA 23840.
