Gerald Wayne â??Cadâ? Archer, 68, of Matoaca passed away on December 19, 2010. He was the son of the late George W. and Susie Woodson Archer. Mr. Archer was a retired Emergency Services Dispatcher, for Chesterfield County, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and a member of Blandford Masonic Lodge #3. He is survived by his brother, George Edward Archer Sr.; two sisters, Grace Jones and husband, Charles, Marie Canoles; nephews, George Edward Archer Jr. and wife Lane, Thomas W. Archer Sr. and wife Karen; nieces, Kimberly Mooney, Jennifer Eason, Cathy Moore and husband Chris; great-nephews, Jason Taylor, Thomas W. Archer Jr., George Edward Archer III, Jude Griffin, Carter Eason; and great-nieces, Savannah and Minna Archer. A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with the Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.
