Gerald L. Lucas

Gerald L. Lucas, 86, of Chester VA, passed away on November 15, 2024. Born on December 21, 1937, to the late Louise Lucas, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Pete Lucas (Margaret); son, Jerry "Butch" Lucas; and nephew, Eddie Lucas.

He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, was deeply loved his family and friends, and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting, and welding; in which he made a career at James River Iron.

Gerald leaves behind his wife, Mary Lucas; daughter, Brenda Lucas (Rickey); his granddaughter, Heather Wilson (Mike Wilson); and numerous extended family members.
