Gerald Sadler

Gerald A. Sadler, Sr. 65 of Petersburg departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Bernard Lee and Minervia Estelle Sadler. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Jewell, a brother James and a sister Kathleen S. Puckett. He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Gerald A. Sadler, Jr. (Brenda) of Sutherland, Bernard, Michael, James and Lester D. Sadler (Elizabeth) all of Petersburg; sisters, Lorena S. Burton (Stuart) of Chester, Zelda S. Johnson (Frank) of Ohio, Patsy Moore (Donald), Joyce S. Hutchinson (Michael), Nancy S. Church all of Colonial Heights; one brother, Ernest M. Sadler (Wanda) of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Tiffany Regal, Shana, Brooke, Matthew, Zackary and Slena Sadler; two great-grandchildren, Haley Regal and Bryce McNew and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, September 2, 2005 in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made on the behalf of the family to the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
