Gerald Lee Squires

Gerald Lee Squires, 61, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014. Born in Hopewell, VA, he was the son of the late William Claiborne and Ethel Cosley Squires; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Curry Squires. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and put his family above all else. Mr. Squires is survived by his loving children, Gregory Squires and his wife, Debbie, Melissa Squires, Michael Squires and his wife, Amy, Kevin Squires and his wife, Elizabeth, and James Squires and his wife, Amanda; 14 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers; and numerous other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
