Geraldine S. Blair

Geraldine Shannon Blair, 93, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Mrs. Blair retired from Lucy Corr Nursing Home as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmond E. Blair; her son, Lessie E. Blair; and her parents, Lessie N. Shannon Sr. and Maggie Scarborough Shannon. Mrs. Blair is survived by her daughter, Vicki Walters; granddaughter, Terrie Martin and husband, Ed; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Blair; and beloved cat, Dennis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
