Geraldine Bridger

Geraldine C. Bridger, of Chester, VA, died on Saturday, April 21, 2007. She was born in Elizabethtown, N.C. on July 13, 1952. She was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, and a retired scientist with Philip Morris. Geraldine was also a member of Enon Baptist Church. She is survived by a mother, Doris Y. Arrington; three sisters, Janice Davidson of Chester, Rose Messer of Prince George, VA, and Rebecca Chisholm of Franklin, TN; three brothers, David Bridger and Howard T. Bridger, Jr., both of Chester, and Charles Bridger of Disputanta; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Hopewell, VA, on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
