Geraldine M. Carden

Geraldine Marie Carden, 85, of Chester, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin L. and Ada Mae Moore Creed; and husband, Paul Carden. Geraldine was a school bus driver for Chesterfield County for 32 years and attended Enon Church of God for 40 years. She was also an avid gardener. Geraldine is survived by daughter, Sandy Atkinson and husband, Bill; son, Terry Carden and wife, Colleen; granddaughters, Grace Atkinson, Hannah and Lily Carden and their mother, Alice; brothers, Gary Creed, Wilfred Creed and Clyde Creed; sisters, Mary Louise Huff and Elizabeth Brammer; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home On Sunday February 14, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm.
