Geraldine Morriss Smith

Geraldine "Jeri" Morriss Smith, 80, of Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. Born in Emporia, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Walker Morriss and Sarah Allen Morriss. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, George Emmett Smith. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth David Smith (Janice) and Bari Walker Smith (Sabrina); grandchildren, Sarah (Eddie), Steven, Sierra (Mitchell), and Kyle; sister, Audrey Braswell.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of your choice.
