Gerry Godwin

Gerry Scott Godwin, 72, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Godwin was born in Adamsville, Tn. and was a Ret M/ Sgt with the U.S. Army. Mr. Godwin was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ella Gillis Godwin and his wife Hui Chin Godwin. Surviving are his daughters, Rebecca Godwin and her life-companion Russell Grant, Jr., Reda Michaud and husband, David, grandchildren, Ashley Grant, Gerry Godwin, Dylan Jenkins, Blaise Michaud and Jenipher Michaud, a sister, Jesse Mae Stephens and husband, Willis , nephews, Lane Stephens, Michael Stephens, Scottie Stephens and Tony Stephens. The family will receive friends Monday, February 1, 2010 from 6-8 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J...T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the Hopewell chapel Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in the Appomattox Cemetery.
