Gertrude Livesay

Gertrude R. Livesay, 73, of Chester died Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was born in Richmond the daughter of the late Emmett Reynolds and Rowena Cole and also preceded in death by her sister Diana Price. She was a member of Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her devoted husband Donald Livesay; children Michael McLean and wife Catherine of Front Royal, Susan Holman and husband James of Ashland and Linda McLean of Chesterfield; step-children Sharon Kushma and husband Jeff of Richmond and Donald Livesay and wife Sissy of Chesterfield; eleven grandchildren Alex, Rebecca and James McLean, William and Arias Holman, André and Aaliyah McLean, Alex and Todd Kushma, Lauren and Zachary Livesay; sisters Mary Louise Langley of Tucson, AZ, Jerri Lee Chamberlain of Chino Hills, CA, and Janice Nunally of Powhatan; and a devoted friend Ellen. Mrs. Livesay was always ready to help; no one ever asked for help that she didnâ??t give it. She got guardian angels for all of her grandchildren who had cars. Now, an angel in heaven is watching over her. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 7th from 6 to 8 pm at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
