Gervase Adams

Gervase A. Adams, 83, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. He was born in Stratford, Wisconsin, son of the late Anthony and Cecelia Adams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla P. Adams. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as well as a past member of the American Legion, Chester. He was also a finger print specialist with the F.B.I. for over 30 years. Mr. Adams is survived by his children, William Adams and wife, Beverly of Chesterfield, Teresa A. Pedrick of Cartersville, Georgia, Edward Adams of Chester, Michael Adams and wife, Donna of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Paul Adams and wife, Jean Marie of Nokesville, Virginia, David Adams of Morrow, Georgia, Thomas Adams and wife, Kim of Powderspring, Georgia, Robert Adams and wife, Dawn of Chesterfield and Maureen A. Fleming and husband, John of Marietta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Mark and Tony Adams of Wisconsin and Kenneth Adams of Chesterfield. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
