Gilbert Harrison

Gilbert Eugene Harrison, age 62, of Chester, VA died on Thursday, May 18, 2006. He was son of the late William O. and Lillian Barrett Harrison. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church for about ten years, member of Richmond Cursillo, member of Warrant Officers Association and a advocate of the ALS Association He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ann Harrison of Chester; two daughters, Michelle A. Coonley and Julie J. Harrison both of Chesterfield; sister, Evelyn L. Harden of Grants Pass, OR; two brothers, Ronald W. Harrison of Livermore, CA and George A. Harrison of Sumner, WA; three grandchildren, Alyson Eland, Ashley Eland and Michael Coonley, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield. A funeral mass will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be on Thursday, May 25, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.
