Gilbert Scott White "Scotty"

Gilbert Scott White (Scotty), age 70 of Carson, VA, went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 30, 2021. His loving wife, Cindy White, was his primary caregiver since his journey with Lewy Body Dementia began. He was surrounded by family at his residence as he entered heaven. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert A. White and Lois C. White. He is survived by the love of his life, Cindy W. White; daughter, Lindsey Brooke White; grandchildren, Brayden, Makenna and Landon Conoly, of Chesterfield, VA; sister, Brenda Sturt (David), of Carson; as well as nephew, Ryan Sturt and nieces, Jill Mitchell, and Rachel Davis, and numerous other family members and friends. He retired from H. A. Phillingane and Son, LLC in 2016. An avid outdoorsman, Scotty enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and metal detecting. His greatest passion was bowling, and he cherished his friends from the Thursday Night Mixed League at the Bowling Alley, Colonial Heights. Scotty’s greatest treasure here on earth was his daughter, Lindsey White, who will always be his baby girl. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 19312 Templeton Road, Carson, VA 23830 with Pastor Michael Baugham officiating.
