Gillie Mellessia Carter

Gillie Mellessia Carter, 72, of Chester, VA, widow of Philip L. Carter, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. She was a loving wife and mother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Timothy L. Carter and Kimberly C. Wyatt and husband, Michael, grandchildren, Alan M. Wyatt and wife, Kayla, and Ashley N. Wyatt, great-grandson, Luke A. Wyatt, and a host of friends and family. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
