GINNY FOWLER DAVIS, 45, a resident of Surry, VA, died suddenly on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at her home. Ginny was born on March 8, 1960 in Boykins, VA, and she loved antiques and collectibles. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Sam R. Davis; a daughter, Jamie Leigh Ward, and a grandson, Shawn Raymond Ward, all of Surry; her parents, Charles R. Fowler of Chester, and Frances Shafer Fowler of Ivor; a brother, Charles Fowler of NC; three sisters, Diane Garner of Ivor, Nancy Mills of Chester, and Betty Stallard of Southampton County; and her husband?s parents, Baxter K. and Novella Davis of Rescue. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary F. Bell.
The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery, Suffolk, Virginia. Condolences may be posted at www.jtmorriss.com .
