Gladys Covington

Gladys Garber Covington, 87, of Bridge Point Trail, Suffolk, VA, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Suffolk and a former member of West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, VA. Mrs. Covington is the widow of Thomas Davie Covington and is survived by three daughters, Grace Cheely of Suffolk, VA, Ruthie Halligan of Hollywood, FL and Sharon Davie of Laughlin, NV; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at 1489 Bridge Point Trail in Suffolk, VA.
