Gladys Phillips Edwards

Gladys Phillips Edwards of DeWitt, VA, born May 7, 1938, gained her angel wings on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William (Bill) A. Edwards Sr. and her son, William (Billy) A. Edwards Jr. She is survived by daughters Cindy Craig of Colonial Heights, VA.; Lynn McGee (Chuck) of Knoxville, TN, and son Steven Edwards (Sandy) of DeWitt, VA. She is also survived by a sister Alma Roland of DeWitt, VA. and a brother Mike Seymour of Wichita Falls, TX. She was loved and will be missed by her 15 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Prospect Church Cemetery in DeWitt, VA.
