Mrs. Gladys Taylor Gilmore, 82, of Flank Road, Petersburg, died Sunday, January 30, 2005. She was born in Vernon, Alabama and was a former resident of Prince George County. Mrs. Gilmore was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart M. and Minnie Mae Brown Taylor, her husband Roy Clenton Gilmore and a granddaughter, Amanda J. Gilmore. She is survived by two sons, Larry C. Gilmore and wife Terrie of Prince George and Ronald C. Gilmore and wife, Brenda of Rupert, West Virginia, a granddaughter, Jennifer Derlene Gilmore of Prince George, four grandsons, David C. Gilmore of Prince George, Roy C. Gilmore and wife, Amber of Chester, Ronnie C. Gilmore and wife, Kelly of Hopewell and Brandon E. Gilmore of Rupert, West Virginia, and two great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Allyson. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phil Andrews, associate pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County. Condolences may be registered at
