Gladys Pearson

Gladys Schools Pearson, 100 of Hopewell died Saturday, May 07, 2005. Mrs. Pearson was the oldest living member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob J. Pearson, and a grandson Tommy Lee. She is survived by her daughter Vivian P. Lee; son Melbourne J. Pearson and wife Winifred; granddaughter Cheryl Stone; great-granddaughter Donelle Shaw; great-great-granddaughter Angela Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews and one devoted niece Betty Edgerton. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 PM.
