Gladys P. Radford

Gladys Price Radford, 86, of Petersburg, died Monday, February 25, 2013. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Petersburg and retired as an inspector from Brown & Williamson with many years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her husband Young Charlie Radford; parents, John and Bessie Walker Price, and a brother John Clifton Price. She is survived by one daughter, Bessie Diana Stephens; son, Toy L. Lail, Jr. and wife, Janice; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Lail and wife, Jennifer, Lisa Resnick and husband, Timothy, Robin Lail, Stephen Stephens, Teresa Ferrell, Robert Stephens and wife Maggie; eight great-grandchildren, Logan, Kristen, Shelby, Wyatt, Tyler, Jacob, Makayla, and Aerial; one brother, J.W. Price and wife, Dorothy; one sister, Jane Knick and husband, Stanley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday night at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
