Gladys Rogers

Gladys Rogers, 75, of Spring Grove, VA passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Born in Yadkinville, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lucy Richardson Money; and was also preceded in death by four sisters; and a brother. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Bethlehem Congregational Church in Prince George, VA. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Furman Jerry Rogers, Jr.; five children, Furman Jerry Rogers, III and wife, Maria, Felicia Rogers Barron, Scott Fitzgerald Rogers, Teresa Ann Pressley and husband, Ken and Brenda Lea Ferguson and husband, Andy; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Bethlehem Congregational Church, 10501 Pole Run Rd., Disputanta, VA 23842. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
