Gladys Weston

Gladys Weatherly Weston, 90, formerly of Cobblestone Drive, Hopewell, died Sunday, December 12, 2004 in Hopewell Health Care Center. She was born in Tyrrell County, NC and had been a resident of this area since 1960. Mrs. Weston was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren Ellis and Ida Lavinia West Weatherly, her husband Willard Luther Weston and a grandson, Ronnie K. Cole. Mrs. Weston is survived by two daughters, Naomi W. Mullins and her husband Bobby of Disputanta and Betty W. Whitley and her husband David of Hopewell, 3 grandchildren, Danny Basl, Fred Basl, Linda Traina and her husband Jinx, 3 great grandchildren, Danielle Basl, Blakley Basl, Stephen Blake Traina and one brother, Earl R. Weatherly of Virginia Beach, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, 2004 from 7:00-8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Alex Roberts, pastor of Unity Baptist Church officiating.
