Glen Wilkie Penley

Glen Wilkie Penley, 82, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Born in Jonesville, VA, he was the son of the late John R. Penley, Sr. an Verna Price Penley; and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gaynelle and Ruth; and two brothers, Marion and John Roscoe, Jr. Mr. Penley retired from Honeywell as a machine operator after many years of dedicated service. He was an Avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed talking about cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Martha Penley; three children, Steven Penley, Mark Penley, and Crystal Heath (Earnest); four grandchildren, Vance, Brandon, Lauren, and Chevi; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m, on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Rd., North Prince George, VA 23860. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
