Glenda B. Williams, 55, of Chester, passed from this life on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at home with her family. She was born August 20, 1960 in Hopewell, VA. She was preceded in death by her father, Howell Taylor Bear; mother, Patricia Mae Bear; brother, Brett Dion Bear; and grandson, Dion Williams. Glenda was a member of Church of Christ at both 4th and Cawson St. and Edgehill congregations. She was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School and was employed with Chick-fil-A in Chester. She is survived by her husband, Donald “Don” W. Williams; daughters, Jessica Mae Fair and Carrie René Williams; sister, Virginia Lynn Hughes; brothers, H.T. Bear (Tammy) and Brion Bear (Kim); granddaughter, Nevaeh Bear. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Church of Christ, 4th and Cawson Street, Hopewell, VA 23860. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
