Glenn Edward "Possum" Lemons

Glenn Edward “Possum” Lemons, 58, of McKenney, VA, died Friday, December 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel Delbert and Betty Mayton Lemons. Possum was a longtime employee of Brenco, a member of Tri-County Eagles 4543 and Reedy Creek Hunt Club. He is survived by his siblings, Dianne Lemons Seargeant (Billy), Larry Lemons (Paula), Delbert Lemons (Michele), Linda Lemons, and Greg Lemons (Laura); uncles and aunts, Joyce Mayton, R.D. Lemons (Dorris), Doyle Lemons (Shirley), and Ules Lemons (Vera); nieces, Jessica Seargeant Lindenmayer (Carl) and Rachel Lemons; and his love, Thelma Kestner, and many longtime friends. A family visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will follow at Rocky Run Ruritan Club in DeWitt.
