Gloria Blick

Gloria H. Blick, 67, of Rushmere, VA died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 in Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA after a period of declining health. She was born in Petersburg and was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Lena Clark Hoyle. Mrs. Blick was a member of Surry Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Garland Blick, Jr.; four children, Deborah Martin and Sharon Martin-Reynolds both of Atlanta, GA, William E. Martin of Bradenton, FL and Garland M. Blick III of Chesterfield; two sisters, Mildred Doyle of Chesterfield and Edith Vance of Hopewell; brother, Jerry Hoyle of Petersburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Lowe, pastor of Surry Baptist Church, officiating.
