Gloria Burnice Kollmann

January 19, 1949 — August 30, 2022

Gloria Jarratt Kollmann, 73, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Jenkins Jarratt and Ruth Chambers Grizzard Jarratt. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Johnny Jarratt, Bruce Jarratt, Bollie Jarratt, Clifton "Gene" Jarratt, Everette "Dickie" Jarratt, Peggy Brinker, Evelyn Jarratt, Sketter Jarratt, and Pauline Pulley.
She is survived by her children, Irika Kollmann Strube (Charlie), Ashley Kollmann, and Chadd Kollmann; grandchildren, Savannah, Conner, Grayson, Gavin, Loghan, and Austin. She is also survived by Frances "Jenny" Babb, who was like a mother to Gloria; along with a host of other extended family and friends.
Gloria was previously employed with Central State Hospital and Southside Regional Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant, retiring after many years. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and enjoyed serving the Lord. Most of all, Gloria was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, aunt, and caretaker for family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Readville Baptist Church Cemetery, 20158 Princeton Rd., Stony Creek, VA 23882. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
