Gloria Marie Random

Gloria Marie Random, 82, passed away on February 26, 2024. She was born in Chesterfield, VA, to the late Elmer and Nellie Burnham. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 20 years, Richard Random; and her nine siblings, Doug, Elwood, Alma, Rosie, Lavinia, Bill, Elmer Jr., Raymond, and Charles, of which she was the youngest. She is survived by her two sons, Raymond (Annette) and Paul Irby; her grandchildren, Rachell Ingargiola (Johnny), Raymond II Irby, Michelle James, and Kimbre Snead (Scott); her great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Giada, Giselle, Maxamus, Bryanna, Mason, Skylar, and A.J.; great-great-grandchildren, Sophia and Yámir; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marie enjoyed traveling, heading south into Mexico with her friend Kay numerous times. She could often be found out in her yard, working hard to maintain her patch of land. When not outdoors, she could be found dancing her heart out, or relaxing with a puzzle or Bingo. She adored her grandchildren and did her best to teach them from a young age the difference between right and wrong as well as state capitals. A memorial service will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
